Finance Specialist / United States

The Finance Specialist has the responsibility to manage various types of orders on a daily basis.  This position is the key link in communication with our sales reps and customers for order and invoice related questions.  The individual works closely with our sales representatives to ensure every order and invoice is processed and delivered on time.

A strong business acumen, basic accounting skills and the ability to reason through ever changing scenarios are necessities for this position.  Taking the initiative, strong math skills, and the ability to anticipate the problems before they happen are also essential for success in this position.  The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to continuing M-Files' high growth rate.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure sales orders are validated & correctly invoiced & fulfilled
  • Troubleshoot problem orders, working with customers or sales to remediate
  • Generate invoices in the ERP system (Zuora)
  • Research account activities and communicate with sales and management team

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to proactively manage multiple orders with multiple account executives.
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use effectively many different independent systems in order to enter, track, research and follow up on orders and order requests.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively without close supervision.
  • Complete all required assignments in a timely manner with high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work with many different departments with follow through to ensure proper completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as job requirements may change.
  • Systems-focused, with proficiency in Excel & experience with ERP systems.
