Senior Solution Architect / United States

The Solution Architect will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and engineering solutions in relation to key business systems and processes. Said environments include fundamental systems infrastructure building blocks such as CRM, ERP, and various back-office systems. The Solution Architect is in charge of leading initiatives and introducing the overall technical vision to address particular business needs.

The Solution Architect interfaces closely with the key stakeholders of the business departments and with the engineering teams. Successfully bridging these two ensures smooth and efficient execution of business-critical projects as well as smaller initiatives. A solid technical skillset and ability to grasp the business needs bring the Solution Architect into an excellent position to turn business requirements into high-value systems and process improvements.

A key aspect of the role is to participate in unearthing the details around, for example, business needs or systems capabilities. Thus, analytical thinking and genuine interest in solving complex problems in the most feasible manner is hugely beneficial in this role. Solution Architect also participates in managing the engineering projects to ensure high-quality outcomes business is pleased with.



As a Solution Architect, you will:

  • Interact with key business functions, such as sales, marketing, customer success, HR, and finance, to discover and clarify business needs towards business systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in the business process engineering work with the business function stakeholders.
  • Crystallize and document business processes. Map them into systems requirements.
  • Own the systems architecture and design work related to particular business areas or systems.
  • Plan and organize the implementation of the needed solutions and systems changes.
  • Own and manage projects targeted to deploy agreed systems and process changes.
  • Interact with other teams and departments to ensure fluent change management upon changes.
  • Interface with stakeholders and subject matter experts in primary business functions such as sales, customer success, HR, and finance to unearth business needs and requirements.
  • Work with systems administration, engineering, and architect teams to drive the agreed changes to successful completion.
  • Work closely with the various operations teams in the departments to ensure cross-organizational alignment and information sharing.

 Key Competencies

  • Suitable degree in fields such as technology, engineering, or business management.
  • 6+ years of working experience in similar roles encompassing both the technical and business process aspects.
  • Experienced in working in cross-organizational and international projects and environments.
  • General understanding of the fundamental business process in, for example, sales, marketing, customer success, finances, or HR.
  • Expertise and knowledge of common business system platforms, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, HRM platforms, or similar, is highly appreciated.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail are needed.
  • Highly organized.
