Content Marketing Manager / United States

The Content Marketing Manager will globally support content marketing efforts by writing and editing various types of content across Marketing channels to communicate M-Files value propositions, expand awareness, and generate leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, excellent writing skills and the ability to produce different kinds of content to support specific needs.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention, and support the M-Files brand.
  • Create interesting and engaging content in English (additionally in other languages, if applicable) that supporting key campaigns and initiatives (emails, landing page copy, website copy, blog posts, social posts, infographics, guides, videos, illustrations, etc.)
  • Write clear, attractive copy for paid campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn, Google AdWords).
  • Manage external creative resources.
  • Work with Demand Generation team and external digital agencies to optimize content for SEO/SEM.
  • Rewrite and update legacy marketing materials when needed.
  • Participate in creating and managing the global content / editorial calendar.
  • Ensure global availability of content pieces / campaign materials.
  • Measure, monitor and develop content for optimal conversion.


Key Competencies:

  • 3 – 5 years of marketing or communications experience.
  • Applicable educational background (marketing, communications, social sciences or similar).
  • Experience in writing content for different channels.
  • High level of creativity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce content in English.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technology concepts and communicate them in a simple, competent, and compelling way.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a plus.
  • Ability to work with internal and external partners.
  • Strong project management skills.
