Global Manager, Business Development

M-Files is hiring a Manager, Global Business Development for our Business Development Rep (BDR) team. In this highly visible role, you will lead a team of business development representatives who are responsible for both inbound lead processing as well as cold outbound outreach for Mid-Market and Major Account teams worldwide.  This role will have global responsibility over 3 key regions: North America, Nordics, and Western Europe.

You will define, iterate on, and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. You will think creatively about getting the job done, continuously analyze data & results while building seamless processes to facilitate it all. As a team-oriented management professional, you will collaborate with Sales, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement and Analytic teams to develop our people and processes to achieve amazing results.

Responsibilities:

  • NA Team Management
    • Directly manage a team of BDRs in NA - onboarding, coaching and development.
    • Intimate understanding of our sales process, value proposition, and sales methodology - delivering on-going and constructive feedback to employees to make the team more effective.
    • Monitor daily & weekly productivity goals and results of BDR reps.
  • Global BDR Process Optimization
    • Audit the current sales development/lead generation process and identify activities and/or technology to drive additional productivity.
    • Maintain the Global BDR Playbook outlining process and expectations.
    • Conduct monthly business reviews with each BDR region to review performance, issues, and opportunities.
    • Build out hiring plan to analyze & improve ideal candidate profiles and build candidate evaluation criteria for interview process.
    • Incorporating best practices of well-run enterprise sales cycles into regular and robust training programs to help our team get better at qualifying, prospecting, and converting.
    • Utilize analytics to identify areas of improvement and monitor key metrics globally.
    • Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation & event marketing activities.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align activities with company objectives and identify key data to demonstrate progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related area of focus.
  • At least 5+ years of managing a global BDR program in B2B Technology with all the complexities of achieving sales development success in regions across the globe.
