We are looking for a skilled individual to join our global Cloud Operations team. As an M-Files Cloud Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving our success. You will be part of our highly skilled Cloud Operations Team and responsible for delivering high quality product support to cloud customers all over the world.

As an M-Files Cloud Specialis,t you will participate in provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring our Cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will also work closely with our customers and our global Technical Support teams, solving problems and questions together with our R&D and consultants. You will be required to make decisions related to correctly scaling and managing our cloud infrastructure to provide a world class cloud hosted environment for our M-Files SaaS offerings. Our team will educate and guide you so you can become an expert in M-Files cloud services.

Key qualifications for this position:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows environments, good understanding of computer networks
  • Ability to work in a customer interface
  • Experience in technical problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Technology or equivalent


  • Skilled in configuration management, resource allocation, optimizing performance capacity, and ensuring that compliance burden and service level agreements are met.
  • Shares knowledge for customers and colleagues
  • Takes ownership of the tasks assigned, "takes the bull by the horns"
  • Actively follows information technology development and M-Files release plans
  • Positive, flexible, and efficient in adopting new products, techniques, tools, and ways of working
  • Able to make decisions related to improving cost savings while ensuring high availability of our services.


  • Participate in solving technical challenges to ensure prompt and high-quality solutions
  • Actively monitor for cloud system outages and rapidly react when needed
  • Participate in DevOps collaboration with Cloud R&D and contribute to SaaS environment and solution design
  • Provide functional guidance for remote Technical Support Specialists
  • Ability to work with customers on migrating existing vault environments to, from, or within the cloud.
  • Understanding of vault infrastructure and capacity to resolve/avoid performance issues by utilizing capacity planning measures.
  • Perform and deliver vault backups to customers
  • Able to setup basic SSO mechanisms such as Azure AD along with configuring User Group synchronizations via SCIM and plugin methods
  • Able to configure basic vault configurations and applications
  • Deploy, destroy, and troubleshoot vault deployments
  • Demonstrate familiarity and use of internal deployment tools, Azure portal, SQL Server Management Studio, and PowerShell


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of Scrum.
  • Experience in target environments like Windows, Windows Azure, iOS, Android and Web browsers.
  • Experience and working knowledge of databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to customers and translate their needs into specific actions and solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion and manage obstacles.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new methods and techniques.
  • Experience working with document/content management systems a plus.


  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related field.
