Field Marketing Manager / United States

M-Files in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to generate demand, raise awareness and build sales pipeline by developing, implementing and tracking marketing programs and campaigns to support sales in North America.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in field and/or product marketing in the enterprise software space. You need to have proven, successful experience defining and executing a variety of marketing programs and activities, including lead generation, email marketing, social media, events and webinars, and developing compelling marketing collateral and sales tools. You will work closely with both sales management and individual sales reps on a day-to-day basis to understand their needs and priorities, as well as to communicate status and results associated with the programs and campaigns for which you are responsible. You will also work closely with others on the marketing team and product management to understand the M-Files value proposition, position in the market and competitive differentiation.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand and effectively communicate and demonstrate the M-Files solution, value proposition and unique differentiation
  • Seek out opportunities to generate leads, raise awareness, grow our presence and build pipeline for our newest, fastest growing market
  • In support of the US Sales team, develop and manage targeted marketing campaigns consisting of a variety of marketing programs, including lead generation, email marketing, ABM campaigns, events and webinars, and developing compelling marketing collateral and sales tools
  • Measure and report performance of campaigns to sales & marketing leadership; test, iterate, and improve on an ongoing basis to drive growth

Key Skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years' in marketing in enterprise software or similar technology segment
  • Ability and willingness to think outside the box, experiment with new methods and execute quickly to meet aggressive growth goals
  • Experience working with both sales and marketing to establish targets and strategy, and execute on agreed upon campaigns
  • Experience planning and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to produce targeted, concise and compelling marketing messaging
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and experience tracking and reporting on marketing effectiveness
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems, ideally Marketo and Salesforce
  • Ability to analyze basic marketing data to make strategic decisions
