Sales Executive / United Kingdom

M-Files is looking for a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion, and desire to succeed. As a M-Files Sales Executive it is your responsibility to build and drive success within your market sector and achieve the targets set by the business.  Your principal focus will be on acquiring new logo business within your target sector and maintain the relationships to maximise the account potential. To help achieve your goals you will be provided with comprehensive sales support to assist with the full sales life cycle from initial engagement through to sales negotiation and close.

What you'll do:

  • Working closely with UK marketing and business development representatives to proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline
  • Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Identifying new business logo opportunities within your territory; using research to develop a comprehensive understanding of the market and its buying behaviours.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Marketing, Business Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Executives, Partners etc
  • Responding in a timely manner to all marketing generated leads and or potential opportunities; providing appropriate feedback to improve upstream lead qualification.
  • Providing regular updates on business opportunities as required; including accurate maintenance of Salesforce CRM to deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Maintaining a level of knowledge of M-Files products and services that enables you to accurately convey M-Files' vision and solution to prospects with both confidence and passion.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years successful quota carrying sales experience, preferably in SaaS, and a Content / Document Management background is beneficial.
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against revenue targets in SaaS/technology sector
  • Active listener with the ability to capture the key business requirements from customers.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles and demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management.
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas (both verbally and in presentation and document forms); in a way that engages with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to rapidly build trust and establish rapport with key decision makers (both business and technical) and to manage complex relationships throughout the sales process.
  • Confidence managing the full sales process (from initial meeting to negotiation of contracts and agreements) in a structured manner that helps others help you as necessary.
  • Experience in selling to Professional Service organisations (Accountancy/Audit/Business Consulting etc) beneficial
